My Reel

Had to put this reel together very quickly for a job interview. The clips are taken from freelance work I did for most of 2009.

The coolest project in there were the faces of the paintings that start changing; they were made for a Bloomingdales display promotion in NYC. When I look at thse clips all I can think of is how every time I started one it felt like I had to start from the beginning. It wasn’t just the work but learning about how I was going to do what I was supposed to do. Off course all of this was taught to me by cousin Carlos Molina whow lives in NY and is just awesome. Weeks after this project was done I saw the movie Waltz With Bashir and in the extras they talked about how the animation for the movie was made and I thought “hey, that’s kinda how I did that other thing” and it felt cool.

In other news, I don’t know what to do with this wordpress. Do I want to pay the CSS thing, it’s not so expensive but ugh… and how about this tumbler? looks so easy and cleaner… any suggestions.

Astronomy Dominatrix Flyer

Probably one of my favorite things I’ve done. I need to try and hook up more of these. Anybody out there?

This is another image I rescued from the old myspace page which should be on the last days. I’m trying to re-organize my output. More to come.
Thanks.

listen to Astronomy Dominatrix here.

Los Flasheros (sticker)

This is a panamenian band that I really wanted to do art for, I don’t think they put anything out and they might have broken up.

You might be able to hear them here.

No Hay Dia & Anna

This was a mixture of some drawings and a picture of an old girlfriend.  No Hay Dia is (or used to be) hardcore music from Panama.

Canister drawings

A small preview of a good project, lots more info soon.

Video mix for today

In between my “studying” I got nostalgic for some old school videos that I never got to see the first time.
